Welcome to my website, my name is Robert Paul Owens and I am The Mobile Caravan & Motor home Engineer. I have been a Mechanical Engineer since 1985, and a keen caravanner since 1989 and a member of both The Caravan Club and The Camping and Caravanning Club.
As an MCEA member and Qualified caravan engineer, I can have your touring caravan or motor home serviced to MCEA standards at your home, storage facility or caravan site. I can provide a reliable and clean service at your home or location of your choice on your unit.
I will carry out services and repairs on your unit at Bwch yn Uchaf caravan site in Bala. I am based in the Wrexham area, and I am prepared to travel to your location within a reasonable distance. I have travelled to Dolgellau, Barmouth, Harlech, Llanarmon y lal, Mold, Chester, Abergele and all of the surrounding areas.
I am fully insured and being a member of both The Caravan Club and The Camping and Caravanning Club I know the kind of service people expect and how much trouble it can be for people to tow their caravans to dealerships for that all important annual service to ensure gas and electrical safety.

The MCEA is a code of conduct that participating engineers work to and offer a demonstrable minimum standard of workmanship to the caravanning public. The MCEA is not only the UK’s largest network of independent caravan service engineers, they are the UK’s leading training provider for mobile caravan servicing. The MCEA was founded in 2005 to provide training courses for those who wish to pursue careers as self-employed mobile engineers, able to service, maintain and repair touring caravans and motor homes on site, or at owner’s homes. The instructors have many years’ experience in all aspects of caravan servicing, maintenance and repairs.
